Yes! There is a BIG difference between custom “fit” and custom “tailored” bras, panties and swimsuits! Custom “fit” means you are measured (usually very quickly and in just a few ways) and then your body is manipulated into a mass manufactured garment. If your body is different from the “standard” that the mass manufacturers use then you will have difficulty finding bras that fit correctly. If this is the case for you, then no doubt your bras are uncomfortable, dig, slide, slip, rub and poke. They may also be harmful to your health if they reduce blood and other fluid circulation and certainly won’t help prevent back or shoulder aches if they don’t support you correctly. Custom “tailored” means you are measured in many more ways so a pattern can be drafted to fit YOUR body. The fabrics are then cut from YOUR pattern and YOUR bra is custom sewn. It doesn’t matter what your body shape and size is because the pattern is drafted for YOU, in all YOUR beautiful uniqueness! For instance: Most women have one breast that is larger than the other. If the difference is significant, mass manufactured bras won’t fit you! You will either wear a bra to fit the smaller breast and squeeze the larger one in and possibly cut circulation off, or wear a bra that fits the larger breast that doesn’t correctly support the smaller one. Custom tailored bras can be made so that the cups fit EACH of your large or small, perky or droopy, bottom or top full, high or low, inward or outward turned, inbound or outbound breast. Whew! You didn’t know there were that many types, did you? And we haven't even started talking about rib cages or shoulders yet! So, you see, Sizing Matters! It really does.
